Hello, I am Melissa, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company located on the East end of Montreal, for an accounting analyst. This is a permanent position on site. Your responsibilities: Ensuring accurate accounting records for the designated region, Performing bank reconciliations to ensure alignment, Preparing and presenting monthly and annual financials statements, Provide regular financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities, Performing month-end/year-end close related tasks, Participating in various continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce the production cycle time of financial information, Developing and preparing various value-added financial analysis Ensuring compliance with tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns in accordance with applicable tax laws. Collaborating with other departments to obtain necessary information and resolve accounting issues. Handling audit demands by collaborating with external auditors, providing necessary documentations, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Working closely with Business Unit (BU) partners to understand their business, helping them understand their financial drivers, and challenge their assumptions. Think this job is for you? It might be the case if you have: University degree in accounting or finance. At least 3 years of accounting experience. Excellent knowledge of Excel. Autonomy, attention to detail, analytical skills, and a sense of responsibility.
