We are seeking an authority IT Service Owner for Microsegmentation to take charge of the design, implementation, and management of microsegmentation strategies within a Zero Trust network. In this pivotal role, you will not only ensure the security of our network infrastructure but also play a key role in crafting our company's security architecture.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sophisticated microsegmentation strategies to improve network security and ensure a Zero Trust approach.
- Define and make sure security policies to meet the highest standards and proactively monitor network traffic to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Work closely with various groups to ensure that security measures align seamlessly with the company's overall security objectives.
- Be responsible for compliance with industry standards and regulations while staying updated on the latest developments and trends in microsegmentation and Zero Trust network security.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to your team members, taking ownership for their professional development.
- Act as a trusted advocate for business interests within the IT organization, promoting IT solutions that support business success.
- Actively chip in to the development and promotion of projects and services, and support IT Partner Managers, IT Business Consultants, and IT Project Managers in your role.
- Report to the Head of the Service Group for Local Connectivity.
Your Profile:
- Master degree in Information Technology or a similar qualification paired with long-term experience in IT
- Over 5 years of experience in network administration and management, with a focus on LAN infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Ideally, hold relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Experience in handling international teams and applying Service Management and ITIL processes.
- Technical background, preferably with experience in the technology industry, particularly in network services.
- Superb communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work optimally with multi-functional teams. Proficient English language skills (spoken and written) are required; German language skills are a plus.
