We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of a boutique hotel located in the stunning Lake District. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven individual with a love for hospitality and an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the hotel team to deliver exceptional guest service
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly and efficiently
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to maintain high standards
- Maximise room occupancy and hotel revenue through strategic planning and marketing
- Maintain and improve the hotels standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures
- Build strong relationships with guests, providing a personalised experience that encourages repeat business
- Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers as needed
- Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner
- Ensure the hotels facilities, including restaurant, bar, and spa, meet the highest standards of quality and service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software and booking systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and P&L statements
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently
- A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
- Knowledge of local attractions and activities in the Lake District is an advantage
