We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of a boutique hotel located in the stunning Lake District. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven individual with a love for hospitality and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate the hotel team to deliver exceptional guest service
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly and efficiently
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to maintain high standards
• Maximise room occupancy and hotel revenue through strategic planning and marketing
• Maintain and improve the hotels standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures
• Build strong relationships with guests, providing a personalised experience that encourages repeat business
• Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers as needed
• Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner
• Ensure the hotels facilities, including restaurant, bar, and spa, meet the highest standards of quality and service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of hotel management software and booking systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and P&L statements
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently
• A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
• Knowledge of local attractions and activities in the Lake District is an advantage
