CNC Machine Operative

Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permanent CNC Machine operative for one of our clients in Middlesbrough who are at the forefront of the industry .
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring compliance with quality standards, procedures, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Program machines for preparing jaws, parallels, jigs, or fixtures for each batch run.
Depending on your skill level, program machines for small batch runs.
Prove out first-off production with the Production Engineer and run batches according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and routing instructions.
Work with various materials including alloy steels, nickel-based alloys, super alloys, stainless steel, and duplex alloys.
Interpret engineering drawings, using both imperial and metric measurements.
Utilize a range of measuring equipment and follow inspection procedures for in-process and first-off batch control.
Collaborate with production support teams, including production control, engineering, inspection, and maintenance.
Use computer systems for program loading and recording work activities.
Support all training activities and contribute to a positive, safe work environment.
Promote productivity, setting an example in adherence to the company's quality, health, safety, and environmental policies.
Perform other reasonable duties as required.Requirements:
Time-served or equivalent qualifications, with experience in CNC Turning, ideally using Fanuc control systems and live tooling.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of production processes and systems.
A motivated and positive approach, with the ability to work to high standards under time constraints.
Willingness to work shift patterns
