Haggerty Jaques is working with a leading global law firm to recruit an experienced Energy & Infrastructure Finance Lawyer into its highly regarded Banking team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-tier team that specialises in handling large-scale projects internationally.

The Role

This role involves advising on a range of energy and infrastructure finance matters, including both brownfield and greenfield financings.

Working with a diverse client base of international sponsors, developers, and banks, you’ll handle complex UK and cross-border transactions across sectors such as renewables, social infrastructure, transport, and emerging energy projects. Collaborating with other teams of lawyers – in corporate, construction, disputes, regulatory, planning, and real estate - will be a core part of your work.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for qualified lawyers with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in energy and infrastructure finance, and experience of advising lenders, sponsors, investors, developers, and borrowers. A background in cross-border finance and infrastructure transactions is essential.
