Job Description
Senior Hydraulic Modeller & Hydrology Consultant – Shape the Future of Innovation in Water & Environmental Consulting
FULLY REMOTE ROLE!
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact on flood risk, drainage strategies, and the environment? Join an independent consultancy that punches above its weight with innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology. Work alongside some of the most creative minds in flood, water, and environmental consulting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to accelerate their career in a smaller, dynamic company where your voice matters, and your contributions help shape the future of the business. With offices in London and Edinburgh and the flexibility of fully remote working, this role offers the best of both worlds.
Why Choose Us?
Direct Influence & Impact: Be a key player in decisions and project outcomes, not just a cog in the machine. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and innovate, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
Career Growth: With fewer layers of hierarchy, you can fast-track your career with leadership opportunities as the company expands.
Creative Freedom: We embrace new ideas and out-of-the-box thinking—your innovations will be welcomed and celebrated.
Personal Fulfillment: Being part of a smaller, ambitious company means you'll directly contribute to shaping its future, which is a highly rewarding experience.
Flexible, Remote Work: Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with flexible hours and the convenience of working remotely. However, you also have the option to collaborate in our London or Edinburgh offices.
What You'll Bring:
Degree in Geography, Environmental Management, or Engineering
Expertise in Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TuFLOW
Experience developing hydrological assessments using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH
1D and 2D modelling experience
A passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to an industry-leading consultancy
The Rewards:
Competitive salary (£35,000 - £46,000) based on experience
Employer-matching pension through salary sacrifice
Health insurance following probation
Continuous professional development (CPD), with opportunities to learn from industry experts and further your journey to chartership
Flexible, remote working and work-life balance support
Join a Forward-Thinking Team
This is not just another job—this is your chance to be a pivotal part of a company that's driving real change in the water and environmental sectors. If you're ready to take your career to the next level, embrace innovation, and work with a team that values your ideas, we want to hear from you!
