The business requires a Technical Manager / Applications Manager as part of its engineering team, delivering technical support and product specifications. The Technical Manager / Applications Manager will handle customer queries related to technical issues, installation, and application challenges. The role involves acquiring and maintaining in-depth product knowledge to assist internal staff and customers effectively.
Responsibilities also include training internal staff, managing product data, assisting with spare parts requests, and supporting warranty claims. Additionally, the Technical Manager / Applications Manager will design and specify air conditioning systems (split, multi-split, HRVU, VRF) and refrigeration parts, while offering fault diagnosis support.
For this role, a strong understanding of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration fault-finding and applications required. A background as an AC and Refrigeration Service Engineer / Installation Engineer would fit this perfectly. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in the field is essential.
Communication is key, with both customers and members of the team, so experience dealing with customers face-to-face as well as via email and phone is required.
The Technical Manager / Applications Manager will receive:
* £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary
* Bonus
* Holiday entitlement

* Private Medical after probation
