Job Description
One of the world’s largest facilities management companies is seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join their team in Manchester. You’ll have the chance to work on a corporate office block and distribution site, taking on a balanced role with responsibilities in both hands-on maintenance and contractor management.

* Salary: Up to £38,000
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (with overtime opportunities)

Role Responsibilities
* Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and support reactive maintenance
* Conduct visual and auditory system checks
* Manage and coordinate contractors on site
* Spend 50% of your time on hands-on maintenance and 50% overseeing contractor work
* Work with AHUs, split systems, and maintaining them and general building services equipment
* Oversee permits to work, RAMS, and ensure health, safety, and compliance
Requirements
* Proven experience in mechanical engineering within a facilities management environment
* Strong maintenance knowledge of building services systems (AHUs, FCUs, splits)
* Ability to balance hands-on technical work with contractor management
* Health and safety awareness
