A leading bespoke Fit-out & Refurbishment Contractor with a turnover of £80 million is seeking a Managing Surveyor to join their team on a full-time basis,
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage subcontract packages, appointments and material procurement
* Direct and proficient negotiation of client contract sums
* Manage Multiple Projects ranging above £10 million
* Oversee measures and report variances to the board and client team.
* Prepare valuations for interim applications and assessments.
* Prepare supporting documentation for the client and their consultants.
* Produce Bills of quantities for construction and fit out schemes UK and ROI.
* Monitor costs to ensure budgets are met and attend regular finance meetings internally and externally.
* Liaise closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to record all variations, change requests and instructions
* Monitoring sub-contractor accounts, negotiations and referrals.
* Preparation and submission of weekly financial reports to client and client QS.
* Monthly cost/value reconciliation to the board.
* Monitoring cash collection.
* Finalising of project accounts with detailed analysis and insight into project performance.
* Providing commercial support to the Estimating and manufacturing teams.
* Monitoring compliance of projects and following company procedures while delivering best practice.
The ideal candidate will have proven track record of numerous projects within Fit-out &Refurbishment with clear levels of responsibility with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience. A strong lead would have a clear understanding of contractual obligations, breaches and remedies, competent knowledge of a range of procurement options available in the industry. Sound understanding of financial management procedures with excellent organisation and management skills.
