Job Description
TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established and independent firm of chartered accountants located in the Horley area. This reputable firm has seen sustained growth and offers a dynamic and supportive environment for its team members. They are known for their client-centric approach, delivering comprehensive accountancy services to a diverse client base across multiple industries. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Client Manager to join their close-knit team.
Job Description:
As the Client Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing a portfolio of clients and ensuring that they receive exceptional service. You will manage client relationships, review financial accounts, oversee bookkeeping, and support clients with a range of advisory services. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, building strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts.
Conduct regular review meetings with clients to provide strategic advice and identify business opportunities.
Collaborate with junior staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Work closely with partners and senior management to support business development initiatives and contribute to firm growth.
Review and sign off on the work of junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements
Key Skills & Qualifications:
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification with post-qualification experience.
Strong technical knowledge in accounting, tax, and compliance.
Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Strong leadership qualities and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, is desirable.
