Job Description
We are working with a successful international manufacturing business based in rural Leominster to recruit Management Accountant within their well-established finance team on a full time and permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing and analysing financial information timely and accurately, to allow the organisation to make well-informed financial decisions.
What you can expect:
* Salary: £40k - £45k per annum
* Discretionary company bonus
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

* Hybrid working model
* Permanent and full time, 39 hours per week
* Rural Leominster
What you will be doing:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs
* Responsibility for the fixed asset register and the verification of assets across sites
* P&L review
* Posting journals at month end including prepayments/accruals & provisions
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process
* Forecasting CAPEX spend and Depreciation
* IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting
* Working with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information to assist with decision making
* Identifying and taking responsibility of areas which could be more efficient in order to give more time to more value-added activities
* Liaising with internal and external audit to supply backing for journal postings
* Ad-hoc duties as required
What we are looking for:
* An accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA and/or bachelor’s degree, or working towards
* Demonstrate ongoing professional development
* Excellent Interpersonal skills
* Experienced in the use of SAP or another Accounting system
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills including MS Word and Excel
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
