Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Engineer who will be instrumental in guaranteeing the highest quality standards for our products. This role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a dedicated approach to ensuring the functionality and durability of our product line.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team
Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues
Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figures
Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system, including auditing where appropriate.
Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements
Participate in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEA's
Liaison with Customer & Supplier representatives to ensure understanding of requirements / issues / standards
Customer Liaison and co-ordination of requirements with sales, engineering, manufacturing, logistic, purchasing and accounts
Monitoring & ensuring customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner
Perform Audit activities in line with company Audit Timing PlanProfile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
Knowledge of quality systems and measurement
Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval
Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Lean Manufacturing knowledge
Understanding of engineering drawings
Ability to present data effectively
Good communication and interpersonal skills
NVQ Level 5 Activities in an Automotive Context over a two year period would be DesirableJob Offer
