About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Access Control Product Specialist to join our team in Manchester. This is a key role for a seasoned technical professional with in-depth experience in access control products, who will support and empower field engineers on-site. This role involves providing expert technical support, ensuring that engineers have the guidance they need to deliver efficient, effective solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for access control products to engineers on-site and remotely, addressing complex technical issues swiftly and accurately.
Troubleshoot hardware and software-related problems, applying your knowledge of access control systems to resolve issues efficiently.
Conduct diagnostic analysis of systems to ensure optimal performance, guiding engineers through repairs and adjustments.
Document and escalate critical issues when necessary to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Act as a technical resource for the team, providing training and sharing expertise to enhance our service offering.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in access control technology and industry standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in access control product support, particularly in a field or on-site support role.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of software troubleshooting and basic networking, ideally with access control or security systems.
Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Based in or near Manchester, with a willingness to occasionally travel as required.
