Job Description:

ESD are looking for a assistant quantity surveyor with expertise in demolition, land remediation, or earthworks to join our clients growing team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in helping manage costs on construction / demolition projects, preparing tenders, and conducting feasibility studies. They should also have a good understanding of construction materials and be able to prepare bills of quantities, cost plans, and estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage costs on construction projects

- Prepare tenders and conduct feasibility studies

- Prepare bills of quantities, cost plans, and estimates

- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

- Provide advice on contractual claims

- Manage sub-contractors and suppliers

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Analyse data and prepare reports

Qualifications and Skills:

- 1+ years of experience in quantity surveying

- Experience in demolition, land remediation, or earthworks

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of construction materials and techniques

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software
