Job Title: Test Analyst – Financial Services

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst with a strong background in financial services and expertise in Jira to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll ensure high-quality standards across our applications, with a focus on delivering robust manual and automation testing. This position involves 70% manual testing and 30% automation testing, requiring attention to detail, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of financial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and document test cases, with a primary focus on manual testing (70%).

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts (30%).

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Manage and track test cases, bugs, and progress using Jira.

• Analyze test results, report defects, and follow up on resolutions.

• Contribute to improving test processes, methodologies, and tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst within financial services.

• Proficiency in Jira for test management and bug tracking.

• Strong manual testing skills with exposure to automation frameworks and tools.

• Familiarity with testing financial applications, workflows, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, UFT, or equivalent.

• ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
