Program Leader (UK Based)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Leader to join a leading French Biotech as they help to re-write the process of drug discovery through the use of generative AI and quantum physics algorithms to design drug candidates at rapid pace. You will have the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary, international team collaboration with top industry companies working on critical in vivo proof of concept programs that will make a real impact on drug discovery.

The Role

As a Program Leader, you will help drive my clients drug discovery projects, inventing therapeutic molecules against specific target proteins and diseases. You'll manage projects in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies or my clients internal portfolio. This position is a mixture between project management, scientific discovery and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own project objectives and progress, including recommending project termination if necessary
• Set clear goals, work plans, and methodologies
• Implement in house tech and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Lead and challenge a cross-functional team (3+ people) to meet objectives
• Manage relationships with external partners (Pharma and/or CRO)
• Collaborate with other Program Leaders and the Technology platform to share best practices and drive innovation

Required Qualifications:

• Professional Accomplishments: 4+ years consulting experience or 6+ years project management in a dynamic, high growth biotech/biopharma/industry environment
• Academic Background: Master's degree in a scientific field (Engineering, Machine Learning, Chemistry, Biology, etc)
• Vision and Execution: Results-driven mindset with strong organisational skills. Able to guide strategic direction and actively participate in and contribute to complex operations
• Leadership: Experience in line-management and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment

Logistics:

• This role is based in London with a mandatory 3 days a week onsite, with the option for 2 days remote working
