Job Description
A Construction Director is required by a London based Residential Developer to oversee sites from 500 to 1500 units and will be experienced in RC / High Rise Residential Developments.
You will currently be a Construction Director or Operations Director overseeing RC Frame and High Rise schemes.
As Construction Director, you will:
Manage a robust Health & Safety plan.
Be fully up to speed on Building Safety Act.
Manage Health and Safety Procedures are complied with at all times.
Manage consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure they are competent prior to commencement on site.
Manage Health and Safety teams to ensure that monthly action reports are actioned.
Make periodic and regular safety inspections across sites.
Ensure all site staff receive adequate Health and Safety training.
Maintain a customer focused environment.
Maintain 5 star NHBC rating.
Appraise the project buildability in conjunction with other directors and department heads.
Attend pre planning, pre tender and pre start meetings..
Lead the Production Team to achieve the agreed build programmes.
Monitor and drive weekly progress and liaise with other department heads to resolve any delays or issues identified.
Achieve PIJ sites across your region.
Undertake regular visits to site to review progress.
Review sub contract and materials supplier performance.
Lead the completion of developments including ensuring all roads, sewers and public open space adoptions are carried out in a timely manner.
A basic salary of between £160,000 - £175,000 per annum plus package including up to 75% bonus and car allowance
