On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Python Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in London with remote work available.
Purpose of the Role:
Global Markets has a well established suite of advanced functionality around the explanation of PnL changes in trading books. With the upcoming deadlines for the FRTB PnL Attribution (PLA) test, the coverage of this functionality is being enhanced and strengthened, particularly with regards to specifics around the PLA test itself.
Responsibilities of the role:
As a Python Developer you will be responsible for:
The PLA effort across Global Markets is significant with involvement across all functions, regions and sites, development of significant components, focused on Fixed Income elements of the business.
A role exists in London for a developer to provide additional capabilities around this component.
Projects will vary between implementation of business logic in collaboration with the Quantitative research team, to aspects of the technical setup and operation of the components.What we require from the candidate:
A high level of Python development expertise.
Knowledge of financial products and pricing.
PnL Explain.
Working background in at least one of Rates, Options, Credit or FX is necessary.
Experience of delivering complex projects in a structured manner.
Strong communication and analysis skills.
A pragmatic and flexible approach.
Solid computer science and design patterns fundamentals.
The ability to work effectively in a team.
Knowledge of RAD dashboarding solutions and SQL would be beneficial.
Proactive in discussing issues and helping colleagues in all locations.
Drive change in other teams and to unblock issues.Next steps
