Maintenance Technician

Job Description
XCL Group are currently recruiting for a technician, for our client based in Huddersfield, who are market leaders in luxury products for outdoor leisure facilities.
They’re looking for an individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who can join their existing team in helping with a variety of Maintenance and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate would be someone who can also be hands on and can assist with installations and repairs, which could involve reviewing paperwork, and working remotely.
The Main duties of the role will be, but not limited to:
* Identify problems and maintain, ensuring water chemistry is at industry standard
* Manual handling within a team of up to 400kg
* Adhere to all health and safety standards
* Supply chemical advice
* Ensuring you have the correct equipment and replenishing this stock daily
* Booking jobs on / off and organising workload using Sage software
* Communicate effectively with customers over the phone and email
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
* Preferably have a background in plumbing or electronics - however training will be provided
* Previous experience within a maintenance role is also preferable
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence
* Great communicational skills
* Capable of working alone and to own initiative, to carry out tasks on a daily basis
* FLT licence would be advantageous
Hours:
* 37.5 hours a week
* Tuesday to Saturday
