Job Description
Our client, a leading company in the highways and transportation (HTP) sector, is currently seeking a Site Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on a highways maintenance scheme, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing on-site activities for highways maintenance projects
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules
Inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met
Preparing progress reports and attending site meetings
Identifying and resolving any issues or delays on-site
Ensuring effective communication between the site team and project managers
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil engineering, particularly within highways maintenance
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline
