Finance Manager
Milton Keynes
£50,000 - £65,000 per annum.
We are currently recruiting a fully qualified/experienced accountant who has operated at a senior level. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fantastic business with clear progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will take the reigns of a small finance department and be hands on with the day to day accounting. Our client is a logistics business looking to continue their growth and future proof to ensure sustained success.

What you'll be doing:
Manage the finance department, ensuring the team have clear objectives and guidance to enable success
Design, review and maintain policies and procedures
Budgeting & forecasting
Play pivotal role in implementing new accounting/finance system
Active involvement in strategic planning for the business across areas including tax, risk and market analysisWhat we need from you:
Previous experience in all aspects of mainstream accounting functions. You will need to be a full qualified accountant, ideally with experience in a senior role
Proven managerial experience - you will inherit an existing team that will need leadership and guidance
Experience with Finance/Accounting systems is advantageous
Understanding and experience of working in SME businesses would be desirable
