Job Title - Mechanical Design Engineer
Location - Peterborough
Salary - £30,000-£40,000
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and solutions.
Create technical drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate design proposals.
Perform simulations, tests, and analysis to validate and optimize designs.
Identify and troubleshoot design issues during prototyping and production phases.
Adhere to industry standards and regulations for mechanical design.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in mechanical engineering and apply them to design projects.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in [industry].
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for 2D and 3D modeling.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and materials.
