We are currently seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and reputable engineering firm in the UK building services industry.
Position: M&E Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits & bonus
Location: North-West England

Due to an increase in demand and ongoing projects, they are seeking a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of various M&E projects.
Key Responsibilities
*
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.
*
Conduct risk, value management, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
*
Manage contracts, including financial administration and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
*
Work closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure project costs remain within budget.
*
Provide regular financial progress reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
*
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, specifically within the M&E sector.
*
Strong understanding of building services, mechanical and electrical systems, and cost control principles.
*
Experience managing contracts and working with NEC or JCT forms of contract.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
*
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
