Quantity Surveyor/Estimator (Social Housing Refurbishment)
Location: Rochdale

About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of social housing refurbishment projects, providing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates for social housing refurbishment projects
Monitor project costs and identify potential cost savings
Manage variations and claims
Prepare and submit interim and final accounts
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify potential issues
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsAbout You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Proven experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector, with a focus on refurbishment projects
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
