Job Description
Job Title: Technical Service Manager
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Service Manager to join the team located in London.
The successful candidate will hold full accountability for the operations across a hub, responsible for service delivery and front facing services at the clients Healthcare facilities.
Role Summary:
Act as a subject matter expert for technical service delivery within a Healthcare environment
Provide a safe and healthy workplace with responsibility for all EHS compliance for both CBRE and supplier partners
Assure contingency plans are in place for emergencies, including approved business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans, service disruption notification processes and crisis management processes
To provide technical and operational support and advice to the engineering team
Manage WIP - Including scheduling works, access arrangements, completion of works, answering financial queries and updating the overall WIP report with the support of the Lead Contract Support
Creating and implementing a training plan for the operational teams; ensuring we have sufficient skillset, Competent Persons and Approved Persons for all HTM and SFG disciplines
To conduct audits of reactive and planned maintenance activities ensuring that tasks are completed to SFG and HTM standard
Manage subcontractor delivery and engagement
Understand and comply with Site safety rules/requirements
Ensure safety PPE and equipment is available and utilized by both self-perform team members and Supplier partner team members at all times
Follow proper procedure and conduct Incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis including regulatory response and reporting, Site Stand Downs and drive consequence Management for all incidents
Responsible for Multi-client locations in and around Tottenham Court Road
Ensure ongoing and required training (PPE, LOTO, Confined Space) is conducted and completed by all team members
All reporting must be timely and completed and all required on site documentation must be up to date and easily accessible
Support Site Budget Management by driving Operational control through Metrics Management
Deliver services based on contract scope of work with full understanding of the scope variances by site
Ensure knowledge of Supplier contract terms, scope of work and performance specification
Ensure PO's are raised and processed in compliance with GWS policy
Responsible for coaching and supporting the growth of your team.
Experience Required/desired:
Technical qualifications
Healthcare experience in a similar role
Knowledge of the Healthcare Technical Memorandums (HTM)
AP qualification in at least one of the HTMs
Strong related experience in FM operations
Strong influencing, communication and presentational skills aligned with good commercial acumen
People management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
Experience of managing contracts, writing and operating to processes and procedures
CMMS experience (WO Management Process) preferred
Report writing ability
Sound understanding of current legislation, environmental and quality related issues, including sustainability and its impact on energy
