Job Description
As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS) and ensuring compliance with automotive and customer-specific requirements. Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll manage document control systems, lead internal audits, and facilitate customer communications. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain QMS systems, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.
* Lead internal audits and manage non-conformance processes.
* Prepare for and participate in customer and third-party audits, driving improvement plans.
* Oversee document control and facilitate change management processes.
* Collaborate with external parties, including customers and suppliers, to meet requirements.
* Support the coaching and development of team members while fostering a safety-focused environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience with quality management systems, including procedure creation and implementation.
* Knowledge of automotive requirements (IATF 16949) and customer-specific standards.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with auditing processes.
* Resilient and self-motivated, with a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
* Experience in the automotive sector and familiarity with Nissan ANPQP.
* IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification.
