We are recruiting on behalf of an established accountancy practice with multiple offices across the West Midlands. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join their team in Dudley..
About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role within the accounts team, preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of clients, including Limited Companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You’ll also help mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders.
* Producing accurate management accounts.
* Reviewing work completed by junior staff and providing constructive feedback.
* Preparing personal and corporation tax returns.
* Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
* Engaging with clients via meetings, calls, or emails to address financial adjustments and queries.
* Meeting deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
* Utilizing accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and CCH (experience with these systems is an advantage).
What We’re Looking For:
* ACCA qualified or part-qualified (nearing completion).
* At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
* Strong technical expertise and a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills for team and client interactions.
* A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
