Job Description
We’re hiring for a CNC Miller to join a leading precision engineering company based in Rochdale.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality components for a variety of industries.
What’s on offer?
* £16.00 - £18.00 per hour
* Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays)
* Overtime available (where required)
* 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
* Standard pension scheme
What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?
* Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce precision components
* Working with multi-axis machinery to handle complex designs and tight tolerances
* Using a variety of materials, including exotics, stainless steel, and mild steel
* Performing quality checks to ensure components meet exacting specifications
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings to create efficient and accurate programs
* Working with 3 and 5 axis milling centres, machining products to tight tolerances
* Using offline programming software, such as Fusion 360, to optimise machining processes
What do you need?
* Previous experience as a CNC Miller
* Previous programming experience on Fanuc or a similar control
* Experience working on 3 and 5 axis machinery
* A relevant engineering qualification (desirable)
