Job Description
An exciting position has become available for a full time Production Manager to join a Precision Engineering company based in the greater Portsmouth area.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of production management techniques and will have the ability to motivate and develop a team. Role Requirements
* Strong leadership, with a passion to achieve targets.
* Analytical, adaptable, and dedicated with a focus on engaging team spirit amongst the production team.
* Effectively combine robust planning and process improvement techniques.
* Must have a strong CAN-DO approach.
* Work to challenging schedules and deadlines without compromising quality.
* Will maintain compliance to ISO9001:2015 approval and the team’s adherence to policies and procedures.
* Strong customer focus with attention to delivering product right first time, on time, every time.
* Able to absorb stressful situations and resolve issues amicably and positively.
* Strong communicator both written and verbal.
* Good understanding of health & safety practices.
* Able to read & interpret complex engineering drawings.
* Workplace organisation techniques.
* Lean problem-solving techniques.
* Strong I.T. skills.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
Role Reasonability
The role would primarily involve providing capacity planning and scheduling support to the production team.
