Job Description
Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
Shift: Days, Monday – Thursday 7:45am – 4:15pm and Friday 7:5am – 3:15pm
Rate: £18 - £21 p/h
The Job
* Set up CNC milling machines, ensuring all tools and materials are correctly selected and installed.
* Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Identify and resolve issues that arise during the machining process to minimize downtime.
* Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve processes and ensure efficient production.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
* Fanuc/Haas experience
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Setter.
* Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience with various CNC machines and tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills.
* Commitment to quality and safety.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
