Job Description
We now have an exciting new opportunity for 4 experienced Automation Maintenance Engineer to join our fast growing and highly successful client that specialises in materials handling systems.
You should be able to provide a broad based electrical, mechanical, ability along with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site’s performance.
The Ideal candidate will be tasked make sure all PPM and reactive maintenance are complete on a wide range automated materials handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation, and packaging machinery.
This is a brand-new facility so you will be able to gain invaluable experience in a brand-new site setup with state-of-the-art technologies including helping the the test and commissioning of the new robotic systems (training and career progression available).
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in an engineering discipline
Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
shift work – 4 on 4 off D/N 12 hours
Experience of managing small teams on a customer site
Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
