About The Position

Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ communication and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Pennsylvania licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
