AlliedTravelCareers is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19139!

Pay Information
$1,249 to $1,288 per week

About The Position

If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in an SNF setting, in Philadelphia, PA this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
  • Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed

Qualifications:

  • Completion of accredited PTA program
  • Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
  • Pennsylvania PTA licensure/certification
  • First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
