THE ROLE IN SHORT:

In this role, your duties will include overseeing the various stages of product development and collaborating with the software development team. You will also be responsible for the deployment and integration of new products leading other departments.

To ensure success as a Product Owner, you should exhibit strong leadership skills and extensive experience in product development in a related industry. Top-notch Product Owners combine their business knowledge with technological expertise to promote product innovation.

POs manage the design and development of products to make sure they are high-quality and meet schedule and cost constraints. They are as comfortable digging into business requirements as they are drilling into architecture and design with development teams. POs delve into technical roadblocks to help troubleshoot, see around corners for challenges ahead and communicate clearly at an executive level.

WHAT WOULD YOUR JOB LOOK LIKE:
  • Planning and managing product development stages based on Sales and Marketing priorities
  • Ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget
  • Reporting product development progress to senior managers
  • Overseeing product deployment and integration
  • Leading and supporting other departments to ensure better product introductions
  • Cross-departments training on new features and products
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Ensuring the alignment among multiple squads and backlogs
  • Collaborating with system engineers and software architects
  • Create triage/troubleshooting guides and support documents for Level 1 and Level 2 support teams
  • Evaluating product performance metrics and facilitating adjustments
  • Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Keeping up with advancements in product technologies
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BRING WITH YOU:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology
  • 3-5 years of experience as product manager/owner, Scrum Master or Technical Product Manager, preferably in a related industry
  • Exposure to main development software (Java, C#, C++ etc)
  • Good knowledge of SaaS architectures, web-based systems architecture, enterprise application architecture
  • A hands-on collaborator, able to span the demands of strategic projects and operational detail with ease
  • Strong commercial acumen, clear creative abilities, analytical orientation, high energy, and resilience with exceptional organizational and influencing skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT engineers and report to senior managers
  • Extensive experience in software product engineering, deployment, and integration.
