Role Summary
Cox Communications is looking for an experienced Senior Lead Product Management to join the Cox Business Video Product team focusing on product lifecycle and value management.
This is a critical role that will work closely with the Product Director and cross-functional teams managing sales support, evangelizing product marketing strategies, anticipating customer and operational needs, and ultimately helping to drive revenue goals and customer experience for the retail and bulk video business. Operates with extensive latitude for independent judgment within operational parameters. Negotiates issues with peers and management to synthesize ideas and solutions that impact operational results. Provides influence and leadership to cross-functional teams and other stakeholders on ideas and solutions that impact industry and/or corporate results. Provides mentorship and guidance to team members and associates.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Minimum
USD 117,300.00 - 195,500.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Assist Product Director in the management of Video during the full product lifecycle.
- Organize and manage actions and follow-ups with cross-functional partners.
- Analyze customer, business and product performance metrics and interpret underlying drivers to translate into data-based recommendations.
- Leverage consumer insights to deliver best in class video experience.
- Analyze video product trends to identify product and consumer pain points and work with boundary partners and external partners on solutions to resolve.
- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely flow of information to boundary partners and their tools.
- Analyze product operational and performance trends focused on driving reductions in cost producing customer interactions.
- Analyze, maintain and recommend revisions in existing practices and processes to drive operational efficiencies.
- Partner with Marketing and other Cox Business Units to deliver effective planning and forecasting of sales, connect and disconnect activity.
- Partner with Training, and Customer Operations in the development of relevant internal and external collateral and processes.
- Identify and manage deployment for Customer facing features to improve our products.
- Serve as Retail and Bulk Video subject matter expert for pricing, process, and technical inquiries from frontline sales teams.
- Provides Video product knowledge training education sessions with sales and other partners as needed.
- Monitor competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.
- Advocates for and assists with Retail and Bulk Video process changes/enhancements to improve both the sales and customer experience for existing product features and new deployments.
- Assists with QA including managing beta product program and recruiting beta testers.
- Work with the CB force team to provide efficient workflows that will minimize change required for sales and improve overall sales and customer experience.
Minimum
- 8 or more years of experience required in related field (e.g. Product Management, Marketing, Process Improvement, etc.) along with a BS/BA degree in related discipline
- 6 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a MS degree
- 12 or more years of experience required if candidate does not possess a formal degree
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
- Exceptional analytical, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in finance, technology, and marketing functions.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with the product development life-cycle and operations
- Excellent communicator with 5+ years' experience presenting complex information to senior level executives. Must be able to concisely convey complex issues or ideas in a clear, organized manner both verbally, and in writing and with strong PowerPoint skills.
- 5+ years' prior experience leading cross functional teams.
- Excellent analytical skills. Must be able to use and make connections across data and analytics coming from various sources to glean key insights that help drive business decisions. Deep understanding of financial drivers with
