Job Description

Boos & Associates is growing, we were recently named one of the Fastest Growing Accounting Firms and Businesses in the Fresno area by the Fresno Business Journal. We are currently hiring a Client Onboarding Specialist!
Here's what you will be doing in the role:

The Client Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new clients. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure all necessary information is collected and processed efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a client liaison between the firm and its clients for new clients/team members during the onboarding process.
  • Collect and verify all necessary client information and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Input client information in all internal systems promptly and accurately
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and onboarding progress.
  • Continuously improve the onboarding process to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Approach tasks with a sense of urgency to meet client/team members' needs promptly.
  • Proactive approach to anticipating potential challenges and addressing them before they escalate.
  • Support additional full cycle client onboarding and Statement of Work groups
  • Scanning, filing, and maintaining documentation support
  • Other administrative support as required including cross training across admin support teams with the goal of training new staff when needed.
  • SOW Preparation
  • Become a subject matter expert in internal systems, and become a go to resource for internal staff
What you bring to the role:
  • Proven experience in client onboarding, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Basic Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality.
  • High School or GED Equivalent
Software:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality.
  • Possesses superior customer service skills, Comfortable communicating with clients and tax jurisdictions

Compensation Information: Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
