Poultry Plant Maintenance Manager (Extensive Refrigeration Experience Needed)

Job Description
- Plan, oversee, and coordinate activities concerned with development, design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Establish standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Direct maintenance of plant buildings and coordinate requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules.
- Develop project objectives including schedule and cost requirements.
- Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
- Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
- Coordinate with all departments when a process changes including USDA.
- Maintain records for local, state and federal compliance.
- Support/comply with all process safety management and risk management plan practices (PSM, MOC, etc).
- Analyze facility operation processes for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Available and on call 24/7.
- All other relevant duties to the position. INDHP
- Vast range of certifications (electricity, HVACR, Ammonia, controls, building management, plumbing, etc.).
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other technical field with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong electrical background.
- Solid understanding of ammonia, cryogenic and HVAC systems.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems, high pressure steam boilers, and large utilities like natural gas and electric.
- Experience with Computer Aided Design software.
- Experience with Refrigeration PSM documentation.
