Security Solution Architect
Role Overview: The Security Solution Architect defines and assesses security strategy, architecture, and outcomes. Aligns business objectives and risk management requirements with security processes, technologies, and services. Provides technical leadership on large and complex security projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance & Strategy:

• Align security architecture with business goals.
• Contribute to security roadmaps and IT direction.
• Develop security standards and procedures.
• Stay informed on digital business and threat environment developments.

Security Infrastructure & Configuration:

• Ensure security is integrated into all IT solutions.
• Develop and maintain baseline security standards for systems, network segmentation, and IAM.
• Validate IT infrastructure for security best practices.

Risk & Assessment:

• Conduct threat modeling to assess risks.
• Maintain a complete inventory of systems, infrastructure, and applications.

Data Security & Privacy:

• Collaborate with compliance and privacy officers to protect sensitive data.
• Ensure least privilege for network access.

Collaboration & Support:

• Share best practices with peers.
• Assist in troubleshooting security issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Expertise in aligning security strategies with business objectives.
• Experience securing web development languages and platforms (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Kubernetes, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of database security (e.g., MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL).
• Experience with DevSecOps and agile methodologies.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, etc.) preferred.
• 10+ years in IT with a security focus, including 2+ years in a Security Architect or Engineer role.
