Job Description
Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalogue Specialist - Consultant
Location: NY / NJ
Type: Contract on C2C
The candidate should have a deep understanding of Informatica Data Governance tools and how they automate business processes. The candidate facilitates use case discussions and documents how the Informatica software interacts with the migration and use case. This person should be the CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) expert who will design the facet specific to the client's conceptual model, populate CDGC with additional details, and develop job aides.
The consultant should have proficiency in the Informatica Cloud data Governance platform, including knowledge of its features, functionalities, and best practices. They should have a strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data quality concepts.
The consultant is responsible for managing the overall solution within the Informatica CDGC environment. They work with key business and IT stakeholders and utilize best practices.
The consultant has the lead responsibility for managing the overall solution design. They work with key business and IT stakeholders to integrate Informatica CDGC.
The consultant is responsible for configuring the CDGC solution, unit testing, and test phase defect remediation.
The consultant works with the Integration lead to develop integration mapping and data quality rules as part of the inbound and outbound integrations.
The consultant provides training and support to users of the CDGC service. They help users understand how to view and export assets, curate automatic glossary associations and data classifications, assign stakeholders for technical assets and participate in change approvals.
