Position : Senior Cloud Solutions Architect Experience : 10 years Location : Onsite, Bengaluru No. of positions : 1 Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based and on-prem solutions. - Architect highly available and resilient systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. - Lead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous integration and delivery across all phases of the software lifecycle. - Build robust and scalable tools in Python and automate tasks using Bash scripting for system administration and various processes. - Manage and monitor large-scale containerized environments using HashiCorp Consul/Nomad (preferred) or Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization. - Design and maintain complex monitoring solutions using tools like Splunk or Datadog, implementing dashboards, alerts, and anomaly detection mechanisms. - Optimize cloud services for performance, cost, and scalability using AWS services and architectures. - Configure, tune, and optimize both self-hosted and managed databases like AWS RDS, ensuring performance and security best practices. - Design and implement scalable network communication infrastructures using messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Build, manage, and maintain Elasticsearch and Redis clusters, ensuring optimal configuration and performance for high-volume data handling. Requirements : - AWS Expertise : Profound understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices, particularly around scalability, performance optimization, and cost-efficiency. - Container Orchestration : Experience in managing large-scale containerized environments, with a preference for HashiCorp Consul/Nomad or Kubernetes. - CI/CD Automation : Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Terraform for infrastructure automation. - Scripting and Tooling : Proficiency in Python for building scalable tools and Bash scripting for automating tasks. - Network Protocols & Messaging Systems : In-depth knowledge of network protocols and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Cloud Cost Management : Experience in selecting appropriate cloud machine instance types based on performance, cost, and workload characteristics. - AMI Creation : Experience using tools like HashiCorp Packer to create Amazon Machine Images (AMIs). - Database Management : Proven experience in managing both self-hosted databases and managed services like AWS RDS, focusing on performance tuning, backup strategies, and security. - Elasticsearch Expertise : Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch, including cluster sizing, tuning, and optimization. - Redis Cluster Management : Experience with self-hosting and managing Redis clusters. Bonus Skills : - Multi-Cloud Expertise : Knowledge of GCP or Azure, with experience in migrating or managing workloads across different cloud environments. - Zero-Trust Security : Experience implementing zero-trust security architectures using tools like HashiCorp Vault for data protection and access control.
