Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description : As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for making sure that our data and processes in public cloud platforms are safe and controlled. This will prevent our application workloads from being exposed to unintended uses of services. You will use a variety of technologies and services offered by cloud environments, as well as your own creative thinking, to solve complex technical and security challenges. We are looking for candidates who are curious, passionate, and excited about cloud security. You should be willing to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities : - Implement and automate a security and governance framework for our cloud environments. - Work with level 2 and 3 SOC analysts to interpret cloud security logs and to provide additional data to enrich cloud related security incidents. - Provide leadership to enable automation/integration across hybrid processing environments. - Also experienced with Cloud Custodian - Familiarity with AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub or other AWS security tooling - At least four years of experience with AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS etc.,) - Experience with Cloud Security & Governance practices and frameworks. - Experience with basic scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Terraform, etc. - Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, Docker, etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
