Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Synopsis : We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. This profile will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team. About You : We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with experience in Selenium, Cypress, Java, scripting languages, and Azure AD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and a good understanding of manual testing practices. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and execution of automated test scripts. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and other automation tools. - Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure the quality of the software. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand software requirements and create effective test plans. - Utilize Java and scripting languages to enhance test automation frameworks and tools. - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure seamless execution in Azure DevOps. - Conduct manual testing as needed to support the QA process and validate software functionality. - Troubleshoot and debug test failures, providing detailed defect reports to the development team. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing. Mandatory Skills : - Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress. - Strong programming skills in Java. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript). - Familiarity with Azure AD and its integration in testing processes. - Solid understanding of manual testing practices and methodologies. Additional Skills (Preferred) : - Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. - Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
