Backend Developer - Java

Responsibilities : Full-Stack Development : - Collaborate with front-end developers, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust back-end solutions. - Design and architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable server-side systems using Java and related & API Creation : - Write clean, modular, and efficient code following best practices. - Develop and maintain server-side components and APIs that power our web applications. - Implement business logic and algorithms to ensure seamless user experiences. - Create and maintain secure RESTful APIs for communication between the front-end and back-end, -ensuring proper data exchange formats like JSON or XML. Database Management : - Design and manage databases, including creating schemas, writing efficient queries, and optimizing performance. - Implement database interactions using JDBC or ORM frameworks like Hibernate. Integration & Security : - Integrate the back-end with third-party services, APIs, and external systems. - Implement messaging systems or middleware to facilitate communication between different components. - Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure secure data transmission and storage. Testing & Performance Optimization : - Write unit tests to ensure code reliability and robustness. - Participate in integration testing and collaborate with QA teams to maintain a high-quality codebase. - Identify and address performance bottlenecks within the application, optimizing code and database queries for efficiency. Version Control & Collaboration : - Utilize version control systems like Git to manage and track codebase changes. - Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and communication. - Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and infrastructure & Continuous Learning : - Document code, APIs, and system architecture for future reference and maintenance. - Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Java development and back-end systems. Requirements : - Strong experience in Java programming and related technologies (e.g., Spring Framework, Spring Boot). - Experience with database design, management, and querying (SQL, JDBC, or ORM frameworks). - Solid understanding of API development principles and RESTful APIs. - Experience with integrating back-end systems with third-party services and APIs. - Familiarity with security best practices and secure coding techniques. - Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit). - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
