API Developer

Responsibilities : API Design and Development : - Design and develop well-documented, secure, and scalable APIs using RESTful principles. - Implement authentication, authorization, and other security mechanisms to ensure API integrity. Technical Expertise : - Possess strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java (or similar languages). - Experience working with version control systems (SVN) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence). - Familiarity with build automation tools (Maven) is a plus. Collaboration : - Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand API requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Requirements : - 4-5 years of experience in designing and developing APIs. - Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architectures, and web services. - Proficiency in a programming language like JavaScript, Python, or Java. - Experience with API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Bonus Points : - Experience in testing APIs using tools like Cucumber. - Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing SOAP services, including handling complex data structures and integrating with Spring Framework. - Knowledge of Telecom Domain and MySQL (advantageous but not mandatory).
