Job Description : We are seeking a talented and experienced Middleware Engineer with expertise in Kafka, Solr, Apogiee, Redis and other Middleware technologies to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our middleware infrastructure for these critical components. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of these middleware systems, enabling seamless data flow and integration across our enterprise applications. Roles & Responsibilities : Middleware System Development : - Design, develop, and implement middleware solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements, industry best practices, and security standards. - Evaluate and recommend middleware technologies, configurations, and architectures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application developers, infrastructure engineers, and operations staff, to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions. - Proactively monitor middleware systems and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Mandatory Skills : - Strong experience with Kafka, Solr, Redis, and API Gateway technologies. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and production support processes. - Proven track record in application support and middleware system development. Desirable Skills : - Experience with other middleware technologies and tools. - Understanding of cloud-based middleware solutions and architectures. - Knowledge of containerization technologies (e., Docker, Kubernetes) for middleware deployment. Skills Evaluation Criteria : - Proficiency in Kafka, Solr, Redis, and API Gateways. - Experience in Agile environments and production support. - Ability to troubleshoot complex middleware issues and implement effective solutions (ref:hirist.tech)
