Software Engineer - Backend Development

You will have a detailed understanding of modern domain-based web systems and be able to contribute your back end knowledge to deliver systems functionality end to end. You will also have experience in setting work for our back-end developers and reviewing their work outputs, guiding code quality and best : - Design, develop, and deploy backend microservices hosted in Azure Cloud (azure functions, container applications, web apps) and APIs primarily using JavaScript(Node.js ) - Craft high-quality, secure, testable, maintainable code that is not over-engineered. - Own the quality of what we build, through testing, test automation, and observability to ensure operational reliability and performance. - Analyse business requirements and problem-solve to create the right solutions for our customers. - Participate in code reviews with other engineers to provide feedback to ensure we maintain quality and standards, and meet requirements and compliance. - Maintain and improve our documentation across code bases, architectures, and knowledge bases. - Collaborate with our cross-functional Product Management and Engineering teams to plan and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Be an impactful contributor to the team, to plan, design and build elegant solutions. - An interest in learning the domain is essential to develop the data models and algorithms that form the core of the product. - Reviewing and analyzing software and system specifications. - Developing and creating test plans and effective strategies. - Analyzing the system and ensuring the test strategies align with the requirements of the development process. - Identifying bugs and creating reports to highlight the status of the software application. - Running debug programs to fix the defects. - Updating all bug databases with accurate information. - Assisting with troubleshooting issues. - Collaborating with QA engineers and software developers. - Documenting the testing procedure, testing progress, and results. - Interacting with the product team to understand product or software : - Minimum 3 or more years of professional experience with relevant technologies such as C#, . Net Core, and web APIs. - Strong experience in backend and API development. - Proven experience in designing Micro Services, and back-end Technology, C# and. net core. - Working experience in Azure environment. - Experience leading feature development and communication with stakeholders, BAs, and designers. - Experience with working in a product-oriented environment. - Experience with CI/CD systems would be beneficial (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc). - Experience with tools, and processes such as continuous integration, Github, git, Jira, and Confluence.
