Software Development Engineer - Test - Java/Appium

Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Appium and Java Rest Assured to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will work closely with both the development and QA teams to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that validate the functionality of our mobile and web applications. Responsibilities : - Design and implement automated test frameworks using Appium and Java Rest Assured. - Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for functional and regression testing of mobile and web applications. - Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand application requirements and establish test strategies. - Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies. - Perform API testing to verify the functionality, performance, and security of backend services. - Continuously evaluate and improve the existing testing processes and automation tools. - Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development cycle. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as an SDET with a strong background in test automation. - Expertise in Appium for mobile application testing and Java Rest Assured for API testing. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Proficient in Java programming and familiar with tools such as Maven or Gradle. - Experience with version control systems like Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
