Job Description
Job Title : Teamcenter PLM Support Engineer Location : Bangalore. India Key Responsibilities : - User Support : Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Teamcenter users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Teamcenter functionality, configurations, and integrations. - System Administration : Oversee Teamcenter PLM server and client administration, including user management, access control, and security configurations. - Incident Management : Track and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective communication with end-users throughout the process. - Configuration & Maintenance : Assist in configuring Teamcenter modules (e.g., BOM, Document Management, Change Management) based on user requirements and ensure alignment with business processes. - Performance Monitoring : Regularly monitor system performance and log files to proactively identify and resolve potential issues. Skills : Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM in a support or administrative role. Technical Skills : - Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, and user interface. - Experience in Teamcenter administration, including managing user accounts, roles, and permissions. - Experience with Active Workspace administration and PLM troubleshooting tools. - Familiarity with Teamcenter modules like Active Workspace, BOM Management, and Document Management. - Basic knowledge of Teamcenter Integration Toolkit (ITK) or BMIDE for minor configurations and troubleshooting - Familiarity with CAD integrations (e.g., NX, CATIA).
