Software Development Engineer - Test III - Automation Testing

We are a Testing Based Company Senior Test Engineer - End-to-End Testing Experience : 8 Yrs Location : Bangalore Must Have : Automation Testing : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-toend testing using JavaScript or Python (or similar programming languages). - Leverage tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for UI automation testing of React-based applications. - Implement and execute BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) scenarios using tools like Cucumber or Behave. API Testing : - Perform robust API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks to ensure the integrity of backend services built on Python and Java. Manual Testing : - Use JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools for comprehensive test planning, execution, tracking, and reporting. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure product quality. - Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Identify, isolate, and document defects using bug tracking tools. Collaboration with Development Teams : - Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies accordingly. Problem Solving & Adaptability : - Ability to independently set up and manage the testing infrastructure, ensuring all testing needs are covered. - Quick learner who can adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and requirements. Automation Framework Development : - Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks. Communication & Collaboration : - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with frontend and backend teams in an agile environment. Good to Have : Performance Testing : - Experience in conducting performance testing using tools like K6, Gatling, or JMeter to ensure scalability of the React frontend and Python backend. Cloud Platforms : - Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to run tests, manage environments, and ensure testing is production-like. (ref:hirist.tech)
