Cyber Fraud Product Administrator - Information Security

Position: Cyber Fraud Product Administrator. Experience Level : 3 Years. Reports To : Head of Cyber Fraud / SOC Manager. Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled Cyber Fraud Product Administrator with strong analytical and technical capabilities, including proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and fraud detection. This role involves analyzing suspicious events, developing innovative fraud detection methods, and supporting digital identity protection initiatives. Ideal candidates will have experience with Python, data frameworks, and visualization tools, along with basic knowledge of machine learning (ML) and web and mobile technologies. Key Responsibilities : Fraud Analysis & Detection : - Analyze suspicious events, user sessions, and patterns to detect fraud behaviors. - Leverage the latest fraud detection technologies and devise innovative methods to counter emerging threats. - Support customer investigations, analyze fraud cases, and provide guidance on the Fraud Protection Platform. System Development & Enhancement : - Participate in the development of digital identity protection systems and fraud detection methods. - Apply expertise in Python and data analysis to continuously refine fraud detection and prevention capabilities. Data Analysis & Reporting : - Use data analysis frameworks (e., Pandas, NumPy) to assess large data sets and identify fraudulent activity trends. - Prepare reports on fraud activity, document findings, and contribute to research on malicious behavior. Data Visualization & Insights : - Employ data visualization tools such as Plotly, Dash, and Matplotlib to create insightful dashboards and visual reports. - Use Power BI, Grafana, and Kibana for comprehensive fraud detection reporting and data insights. Customer Support & Platform Optimization : - Assist customers with platform usage, incident investigations, and fraud analysis. - Provide feedback on platform features, contribute to continuous improvements, and support platform updates through DevOps. Technical Skills in Database & Development : - Work with databases to manage and query fraud-related data effectively. - Apply basic machine learning (ML) techniques and knowledge of web/mobile application technologies to enhance fraud detection. Required Skills and Qualifications : Experience : - 4 years in cybersecurity, Devps, fraud detection, or data analysis roles. - Experience working with fraud detection technologies and customer support on fraud Skills : - Proficiency in Python, with experience in data analysis frameworks such as Pandas and NumPy. - Strong skills in data visualization tools like Plotly, Dash, Matplotlib, Power BI, Grafana, and Kibana. - Experience with databases and basic ML knowledge. - Basic understanding of web and mobile application technologies, with knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Fraud Knowledge : - Understanding of prevalent fraud schemes, such as account takeovers, phishing, and transaction fraud. - Familiarity with fraud prevention strategies for financial and e-commerce settings. Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Effective communication for documentation, customer support, and teamwork. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Educational Background : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (eg, CompTIA CySA, CEH, GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence) are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
